Digital Product Passport
Every piece we make has a passport. Scan the code on its label, or enter the passport number printed beside it.
The levels
- 0 · Minted The piece has an ID, a name and a permanent address.
- 1 · Identified Collection, season, type, colour, material, technique and an image are on record.
- 2 · Regulation-ready Fibre composition in percent, care, place of making, unit number and the sewn-in label are confirmed.
- 3 · Craft-complete Fabric and supplier, trims, certificates, end of life, hours and the history of the piece are confirmed.
Regulation-ready is our own term. It is not a statement of conformity with a standard.
The regulation
Binding today for every textile product sold in the EU: the fibre composition label (Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011, in Germany the Textilkennzeichnungsgesetz), and the name and address of the manufacturer with a unit or batch number (Regulation (EU) 2023/988).
The Digital Product Passport comes from Regulation (EU) 2024/1781. For textiles it is not mandatory yet: the delegated act is planned for the end of 2027 and would apply from mid-2029 at the earliest.
Our passports are voluntary. They follow what is binding today and prepare for what is planned.
